How should I package my device for return?

Follow these simple steps before sending your device back to Raylo

When it’s time to return your device, proper packaging is key to ensuring it arrives safely. Follow our guide to package your device securely to avoid any damage in transit.

Before packaging your device, make sure you have completed these steps:

  1. Initiate your return: Contact us to begin the return process. You’ll receive a return label or instructions for a paperless return.

  2. Backup your data: Make sure you've backed up your device before packaging. Need help? Check out our Apple, Samsung and Google guides.

  3. Remove Accessories: Make sure to remove any SIM cards and personal accessories that didn’t come with the device originally.

Packaging your device properly:

  1. Use appropriate packaging: Place your device in its original Raylo box if you still have it, or use a sturdy alternative. To avoid scratches or impacts during transit, wrap your device in protective material like bubble wrap or a padded envelope.

  2. Outer packaging: Place the packaged device inside a strong mailing bag or box. This outer layer is crucial for protecting the device from damage and potential fraud.

  3. Secure the package: Seal the packaging securely with tape along all seams. Make sure everything is tightly packed so the device doesn’t move around during shipping.

  4. Attach the return label: If you are using a return label, ensure it is clearly visible on the outer packaging. If you chose a paperless return, follow the provided instructions to generate your digital return.
