Your device is important, and we want you to feel confident it’s protected. If you choose to opt into Raylo Insurance, the device you lease from us will be covered against accidental damage, theft, and loss. You’ll pay for this cover and will be responsible for submitting any claims on Raylo’s behalf. Here’s everything you need to know about how it works.

What’s included in the cover?

If you choose to opt into our insurance, your device will be covered for:

  • Accidental damage

  • Theft or loss of the device

  • Worldwide cover for trips under 30 days

For full details, check the Insurance Policy Summary.

Our policy is underwritten by Collinson Insurance (a trading name of Astrenska Insurance Limited) and administered by Pier Insurance Managed Services Limited.

FAQs

What is the excess on insurance?

The excess you’ll need to pay depends on your device. You’ll see the exact amount when you start your claim through your Raylo Account. Or, for a breakdown of excess amounts, check out our excess guide.

Why would I need insurance?

Accidents can happen anytime. Our insurance protects you from the high costs of repairs or replacements due to damage, loss, or theft. Without it, you’d be responsible for these costs on your own, which could add up quickly. Still unsure? Get in touch with us to explore your options.

What if I don’t want insurance?

Raylo Insurance is completely optional. If you’d prefer to use your own insurance, just make sure to check what is covered. Find out more here.

Is my tech insured while I’m on holiday?

Yes - Raylo Insurance covers the device while travelling, as long as you’re away for less than 30 consecutive days. Just follow any local safety precautions, and if something happens, you can start a claim right away through your Raylo Account.

Pro tip: Keep Pier’s contact details handy when travelling. You can contact them at [email protected] or call on 01702-568-082 (Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm).
