Battery not up to scratch?

Our refurbished devices work just like brand new ones, and the batteries are at least 80% that of brand new. For extra peace of mind, each refurbished device comes with Raylo Warranty for the duration of your lease, plus a 14-day cooling-off period.

Below are some tricks you can try that may help:

  1. Restart your device: this should clear any potential software glitches draining your battery.

  2. Ensure iOS and all apps are up to date: non-updated apps can be a drain on your battery.

  3. Stop using power-intensive apps: Some apps are extremely power-hungry, and using them frequently can run your battery down quickly.

    • To see which apps draw the most power, go to the Settings app and then tap Battery.

    • Scroll down to the list of apps. You should be able to see which apps are running your battery down the fastest. Now you can decide whether to update or remove the guilty apps.

  4. Turn off ‘Background App Refresh’: Allowing all your open apps to continually update and refresh in the background becomes one cause of the battery draining faster, all of a sudden.

    • To turn it off, go to Settings > General > Background App Refresh > Toggle ‘Background App Refresh’ to the off position.

If you have tried all of the above and your battery is still draining faster than you’d like, or if the device’s battery drops below 80% capacity, please feel free to contact us.
