Don't panic.

This doesn't mean that the Direct Debit date wasn't changed at your request.

It may have been too late for this change to take effect for your next payment date, as we need 5 working days before the payment is due to do this.

If you requested this change within 5 working days of your Direct Debit date, the original date will still apply. Please be assured the change will apply for your next monthly instalment.
