Using Find my Mobile on your Samsung

When you first set up your Samsung device, you will need to set up ‘Find my Mobile’ through the settings app on your phone. You will need a Samsung account to set up your account to use ‘Find my Mobile,’ this will allow you to find or lock your device and backup your data.

To use ‘Find my Mobile’ you should allow Google to collect your location information and agree to the terms and conditions of using wireless networks.

Follow these simple steps to activate ‘Find my Mobile’ when you first set up your new phone:

  1. Start at your Home Screen

  2. Tap Settings

  3. Scroll down to ‘Biometrics and security’

  4. Go to ‘Find my Mobile’

  5. Switch on Find my Mobile and enable send last location

  6. Enter your Samsung account details to enable activation

If you have lost your phone, go to the 'Find my Mobile' website where you will be able to:

  1. Locate your mobile

  2. Lock your screen

  3. Ring your device

  4. Back up data
