Think you’ve been scammed?

If you spot something suspicious - like a device ordered in your name or an unexpected phone call - act fast:

  • Stop - Don’t send the device anywhere or share any more information

  • Contact Raylo - Email [email protected] or call 020 4525 7561

  • Report it - Go to Action Fraud or call 0300 123 2040

Common scams to watch for

Scammers often pretend to be your mobile network or a recruiter. Here are a few common scams we’ve seen:

  • “Free upgrade” calls - They pose as networks like Three, EE or Vodafone and order a device from Raylo using your details.

  • Return requests via QR code or strange addresses - They try to steal the device and leave you with the payments by asking you to send a device to an unfamiliar address. This is a red flag.

  • Fake job offers - Often pretending to be from companies like Addison Lee. They get a device delivered to you, then ask you to forward it on for “setup”.

If you didn’t place the order, do not send the device anywhere. Contact us immediately using the details above.

How to spot if it’s really us

We’ll never:

  • Call out of the blue offering upgrades

  • Ask you to return a device to an address you haven’t seen before

We only contact you through official Raylo channels.

Tips to protect yourself

Keep your personal info safe with these simple steps:

  • Never share personal or payment details unless you’re sure who you’re dealing with

  • Use strong, unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication
